I recommend this site to my customers
Just wanted to let everyone know, I recommend this site (Homesteadingtoday) to alot of my customers at my one job at a national farm store chain. I don't know all the answers, and I tell my customers that, but if they have internet access, this is the place to go. I have learned a ton from all the knowledgable people here, and I have tried to be helpful with what I know. Oh, by the way, that job is only a part time job, my regular one as an auto tech at a dealership. Many of the customers at the store are horsey people, and my knowledge is pretty much nil there, so I pass them on to the other teammates that know that stuff. But I try to read here to learn stuff, at least the basics, to help. Of course most of the time, I won't get a beginner asking me questions. (i guess horses are too big of an investment to not know anything )Now goats, piggies chickens and bunnies are a different matter! I have passed on much of what I have learned here ( and I'm always learning) to those that I can, plus pointing them to this website. Thanks again for a great website, and I'll probably start asking questions of you all soon, as I'm working on the website for the family farm, which my brother runs.
