OH! if only you were closer.

I hope it isn't too cold tomorrow so that the sale is a big success.

I wish they had something like this around here dang it!

Oh don't I wish! Maybe if it wasn't the day before Easter, I might give it a try! LOL But I would have an awful lot of disappointed folks sitting at my dinner table if I decided to bug out this weekend.

Maybe next year!

Looks like a lot of interesting stuff. I'll bet there will be a huge crowd, and all the true bargains will be gone before the actual official opening. If I were just a little bit closer I wouldn't mind coming just to look. But I'd probably have a problem if people around me became too hurried and pushy. I hate that.

LOL nope its an auction and almost everything will be sold by one of the auctioneers. Sometimes there is as many as 5 trucks selling at a time but except for a few venders it all gets sold in the open auction.
And actually even with thousands there its pretty laid back......well for thousands!

I'll order--

I'll place my order for the blue Tuff-bilt or other brand of tractor. Wow, what a great vegetable farming tractor that would make. Much like the Allis Chalmers G that veggrower on here has.

I'll also put down the Allis Chalmers All Crop combine. Those wanting to plant and harvest small plots of wheat or edible beans should be drooling over it.

The grain trailer next to the combine would work well with it and for many other purposes from hauling ear corn to ??

Wouldn't mind having the Cub Cadet lawn tractor--depending upon the model. Looks to be an okay one.

It should be a fun auction. The Lions Club where I used to live had a yearly auction until it got to the point of being a big junk swap meet with no good items at all. The club was often left to clean up a great quantity of undesirable items left behind too.

Is this an annual thing? WOW!

Where in IL are you? My folks live in Spfld, might have to make a trip "home" for Easter next year if I could plan on hitting a sale like this to help make that driving drive across the plains worth it.

Hope you find a treasure for yourself!

Ok the blur TRI-TRACTOR brought $1100 I think it went to w dealer in murry KY the AC pull type combine brought $85 the wagon next to it brought $450 I think, mostly cause it had a dump cylinder ,The two bottom pull type plow next to the combine brought $150 most of the two bottom plows brought around $100. the IH cub in the picture brought $1800 I think.

Several small two row planters like the one pictuder brought $150 they are using them to plant deer food plots The cornpicker brought on quite q bid war and brought $350
I got 3 metal army type jerry cans for $5 and a two compartment 100 gallon fuel tank for $15 3 tanks like it sold before and 3 after at various times and places in the sale and all brought within 15 bucks of $150 so It really bugged me about why I got mine for $15 but it looks ok.
There will be anothe Sale just like this at TOWER HILLl later ,In may I think
