maple syrup ques

Can you make maple syrup from any type maple?
Would it be possible in Colorado if you had the right trees?

I really dont know for sure. I dont see why you cant. DO you know what kind of maples they are?

i hear you want to avoid norway maples as they have cloudy sap. sugar maple, black maple, red maple and silver maple are your best bet. you can also tap box eldar trees, but the syrup is not quite as good as maple syrup.

And Birch!!!

There's a type of maple besides Norway to avoid, but my brain's quit for the day I guess...
