Spent our first night sleeping at 'our place'..

And it was GREAT!!!

We decided to unclutter our house by moving some furniture and stuff up there so we rented a moving truck.

Once up there we started setting up a living space and we now have a place to sleep,a food prep area and some sofas and rocking chairs to enjoy.

We are going back up this weekend to build an outside shower and to meet with the septic guy about putting in the septic system, once that is in we will next finish the bathroom and if funds allow put in a well.

The one small problem we had was one of the puppies decided to have some 'intestinal' issues and had to go out every couple of hours during the night,it didn't make for a very restful sleep.

We took a few pic's but Mrs oz still needs to upload them.

I can tell you we REALLY didn't want to come back to SC.

Yes we really think it will be.

We are also contemplating simply making the barn the actual house....

Although we have a homesite cleared nearby we could quite easily live in the 'barn'.

Oz:

Put your funds into outdoor rooms (an outdoor kitchen, firepit, jacuzzi, gazebo) and live above the barn!

Mrs oz already has plans for an outdoor kitchen/canning area under one of the sheds..

We LOVED sitting on our little deck and watching.......nothing at all....

It was bliss.
