Includes South Padre island and Brownsville , Texas. Warm all year long - humid all year long. I will go to South Padre during October to Early March. Too hot and humid after that - unless someone invites me on a fishing trip.

Not there now but lived in Harlingen 2 years as a kid.

I'll second the HOT and HUMID

And after a hurricane dumps on you the mosquitoes are unbearable.

However the oranges and grapefruits were nice.
Land might be a good thing, I notice more housing developements down there as I browse through the online real estate sites.

Hubby drives through there on a regular basis commuting to his job. If you need a scout, let us know.
