Reworked 50's Farm Poster

Hey all I took a few minutes a reworked DJ's pic of the poster. It was cropped, resized and distorted to square it up and I took some of the creases out. It was also sharpened and brightened a bit (maybe too much for some).

You can nab it from my photobucket album but they resized it to 800X600. The original was 1024 X 768 and it should resize fine. If not PM me and I will email you my finished background copy. If you are using dial up with an accelerator right click the image and click show with full quality before copying and pasting.

DJ, If you don't mind taking another picture as straight on as possible and capturing all of the edges I can do a tad more work.

Thanks for the pic DJ.

Ted

Good job. Does seemed a little stretched, though. The woman looks VERY skinny!

That is so cool. Today is my birthday and I am sitting here with my ice tea looking at this site (lurking) as I am so wiped out from my new job that even thinking hurts and feeling OLD and you put this here to moon over.I love pictures like, this reminds me of childhoods lost and what I still want for this life. Thanks so much. PAM

LOL You are thanking the wrong guy but thank you. All the thanks should go to DJinWA for posting the original poster, I just did some editing.

The overall stretch was only 27 pixels. I think that was just one skinny lady.

Probably right. I'd love to have a poster. Especially would love to have an original!

You'd look skinny too if you had all the work that poor woman has, in a dress and heels, yet!

Thanks, it is a sweet picture from a more innocent time.
It cleaned up really well!

Is it just me, or is that rooster in the foreground rather large? In comparison to the cow.... WOW!

I love the picture -- thanks DJ for posting and thanks GA for cleaning it up a bit.
