Double Walled Pipe Life Expectancy

Has anyone seen stats on the average life expectancy of double walled black stove pipe? If you've used this type pipe in the past, how many years did it hold up for you? Thanks for any input you can provide.

I can't say, but I would think the newer, cheaper metals used wouldn't last as long. If I had to guess, maybe 10 years.

I install it on gas furnaces all the time. Not black but galvinized, Some of the furnaces I have put in twenty years ago I have replaced and used the old pipe. A lot of it has to do with the vent cap, does it leak in the summer during the rains, if it does it will last maybe 10 years if not a whole lot longer.
