Floor heat in a mobile?

I remember coming across something on the internet once about the possibilty of affordable floor heat in a mobile home, in my case a doublewide. Can't find it now. Anyone have ideas? Think it's possible?

Smile Floor Heat

Put a Wood Furnace in the basement and you can heat the green House as well, just that simple.

Hi,

I guess you could do this way:

This is my house, and I can say that while its not a small project, it is doable.

You also need a source of hot water (e.g. a boiler or hot water heater) to run through the floor pipes.

Many "floor heat" systems are electric, essentially a rug w/electric filament, like a electric blanket.
Our Co-op sells these.
I'll see if I can find an old issue, if this is what your talking about?

You can do it the way SolarGary did his. You can also use Gypcrete or similar product, This is a "lite" concrete. You pull up the old floor, if you can. You lay down the tubing, then pour gypcrete over the floor and let dry. You would want to put something under the MH for insulation.
