Did you get yours???

Some time ago, this link was posted for free feed buckets..... It's been almost 2 months, I'm thinking and I haven't gotten anything from these people after filling out the form at this link. Did you fill it in and did you get any of feed buckets from them? It says you'd get 3 for free after registering and I was wondering..........

I received a message from the company asking me to remove the link. I guess giving away buckets to non-corporate clients was not what they intended? That's between you and them! I also posted a dealers contact number on the sheep board as supplied by the company. It was a sticky thread there for a while, but it should still be searchable. I'll try to find it for you if you can't.

Looks like, just another company gathering a mailing list. e-mail in this case, to use or sell as they see fit (profitable). FREE, you say. Where did you get such an idea?

They WERE NOT feed buckets. They were made for grain elevators, and the company was wanting to give SAMPLES of them to people who USE grain elevators. If you need feed buckets, they dont cost a lot. If you REALLY just have to have THOSE particular "buckets", I'm sure they will be happy to SELL you a few. You shouldnt blame the company for trying to promote products to their CUSTOMERS. You also shouldnt expect them to give them to just anyone who asks for them either, since over half the questions on the form pertained to your "operation" and "what type of elevators do you USE NOW"?

I was wondering back when it was posted how many people bothered to read the title of the website or the description of the buckets...

Those elevator buckets wear out after a few million bushels. Very often you can get some used ones for little or nothing from a grain elevator, slightly used. They come in handy for parts storage, etc.

Well geesh, bearfoot, don't get your panties in a wad.......I was merely following up on it. It really doesn't matter a hill of beans what I was planning on using them for.........it doesn't entitle you to take that attitude!
