I've never built with it and I think it is mostly viable for homes in the 3000 ft and up.
I've been building for 45 years. I've built yurts, A frames, Domes, Post & Beam, Block house and when you get right down to it a regular frame is still the best way to go for the average person on a budget. Unless you got LOTS of time.

I do like post and beam with SIPS panel overlay. The trouble ,to me, with concrete style houses they never seem very warm and inviting. And there the dickens to remodel or change.

I was a construction supervisor on a 75 house project for Habitat for Humanity in Mexico. It was done entirely in ACC. Interesting stuff. Easy to work with, light, and strong. That said, I wouldn't want it for my own home. Like TNHermit said, it's tough to be a stick house for a lot of reasons.

I had never heard of it until you posted.
Too bad it says its for warm climates only...I think it sounds wonderful, and I would've been eager to try it.

Let us know if you do any projects with it.
Maybe some of you southerners will have a good way to build a root cellar now...

I don't know why they say it for warm climates. They use it almost exclusively here in Korea. In my apartment building I rarley even turn on my heat (radient floor) because all my neighbors keep the building warm via their radient heat and the building's thermal mass.
