Can you take your blood pressure now? If you are feeling this bad and your pressure was up yesterday, you should take it NOW. Then a trip to the ER may be in order.

Get a nurse or Doctor in the room with you now. That dizziness is NOT GOOD!
(I had ANOTHER heart-attack last April......get someone in there with you!)

Sounds like they might need to change to a different type blood pressure medication. I know I took a different kind than what I'm taking now, it made my eyes act funny, like you were pulling a shade down in front of my eyes.
Be sure tell the Dr. about the headaches and dizziness. Blood pressure is nothing to fool with.

You need medical attention right now. Call 911 if necessary. Time is critical.

It's early so your best bet is go to the emergency room now.

If you are on BP meds, it should never go that high.
Call the Dr's office, describe your symptoms & have them tell you to go to the ER.
There are tons of BP meds out there. They need to try different ones until you find one with no side effects. You also may need to take a combination of 2. Don't settle for any side effects.
You may want to take it at night as most heart attacks occur early AM. Nothing says you need to take it in the AM.
I'm on a real "old" type that the side effect is sleepiness. I take it at night and feel it does double duty as it helps me sleep also.
Good luck.
Keep us posted!

do you have any cayenne pepper there? if so eat some now! Your mouth may burn like crazy but it will bring your bp down. that is serioulsy high bp. yes the funny feeling and the dizzy are from it being so high. I have been on cayenne for several years now for bp. I have a family history of it and take steps to hopefully prevent me from following in the footsteps of my family. Daily I take cayenne, hawthorne, and garlic. the 3 together are a whammy against heart disease and high bp.

Visual Migraine Maybe?
Your eye problems sound like a sympton of a visual migraine headache. Don't know if your High BP would be caused by or be causing the migraine. I'm glad your blood pressure is lower. Maybe tomorrow it will be lower.

Plz go get help with your bp. I don't want to scare you but those are warning signs of something wrong. High bp puts pressures in areas of the brain that can cause vision problems, dizziness, head ache, and stroke. I am not a doctor but years ago was an emt and plz get some help. If your present doc will not help get to the ER so they can and get a new doc. Good luck. Sam

You need different meds the one your on is not working. Call your doctor RIGHT NOW and tell them what is going on, Maybe they can change meds over phone and you can just get new meds picked up. Call right now...

How are you today??
I used to keep cinnamon and individual applesauces in my office. Lots of us had high bp and would occasionally forget to take our meds. In an emergency, cinnamon will bring down your systolic (first number) by 10-15 points within 10-15 minutes. It works as a diuretic, so stay close to the bathroom! You need to take 1 tablespoon minimum- it's a lot like eating dirt,
If your BP medicine USED to work good, maybe Dr needs to check out your kidneys.
Are you taking any herbals? Sometimes certain herbs raise bp.

Not taking any herbs or anything now..Use to have Tenn-care insurance. Was taking off about year ago.Have to go to the Health Dept. Dr. Only have limited income. Sure could NOT pay for ER or regular Dr. I think it kinda starts with my nerves. Don,t sleep good, awake all thru the nite.worrying about everything. Was on Paxilcr and it still would go up and down. Use to when I drove a car{this was 15years ago} and was in Dr office my B/P would go out of sight. Usually when it goes up and I can lay down and sleep for a while it will go down. I do smoke tho. I know I should quit. Have had the habit for 30 some years. Have tryed to quit, still puffing. My Dad has had several heart attacks. My Mom died from a stroke and anyrisim

I don't know what town you're in, check for a clinic or a Rural Health Consortium in your area. they will take walk ins and bill by your earnings. They are the best place even if you have insurance as they do everything in house. Don't let your health go.

Life is precious, don't play russian roulette. You need a cardiovascular specialist. Usually they offer reduced rates for people without insurance and a payment plan.
Get the help now and worry about paying later or not at all. Many of them write it off as a loss later down the pike.
Quit smoking.
Do you qualify for Medicaid?
