Well I hope it hurries up it is -37 outside right now and it does not look good for the next week either and right now the wind chill is -46.
here is what we have coming in the next few days.

Today---Sunny. Increasing cloudiness this afternoon with 30 percent chance of flurries. Wind north 20 km/h. High minus 23. Wind chill minus 46 this morning and minus 36 this afternoon.

Tonight----Cloudy with 30 percent chance of flurries. Wind northwest 20 km/h becoming light this evening. Temperature steady near minus 24. Wind chill minus 36.

Sunday---Clearing in the morning. High minus 21.

Monday---Sunny. Low minus 30. High minus 18.

Tue---A mix of sun and cloud with 30 percent chance of flurries. Low minus 22. High minus 18.

Wednesday---Sunny. Low minus 27. High minus 17.

Well it looks like it will warm up eh
But no matter what the weather is I still love it here on the prairies guess thats what happens when you grow up on them

How is the weather in your area

I just read the following weather advisory about our area: The national weather service in Indianapolis has issued a wind chill advisory which is in effect from 7 PM this evening to 12 PM EST Sunday. An arctic airmass will settle on central Indiana tonight. Overnight low temperatures are expected to drop below zero in some areas while others will see lows around 2 degrees. West winds at 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph combined with the cold will produce wind chills of 15 below to 20 below zero at times.

It's 8º right now. This is one case where I hope the weather guesser is way off on his/her predictions.

App, it's colder here than it has been but not that cold. I think we've had a couple days of -15 but we've had wind making it seem more like -20 & -25 but wind is pretty normal in sunny Alberta. We've had snow but not much in my area, which may be what's making it seem colder. I just howled cause my test pilot is over in Whitewood and he keeps telling me how much snow they have and are getting because it's simply expected when you're in Sask. He's in his glory because he absolutely loves winter and has always felt he was short changed by living in the Chinook belt. We'll see how tough he is now

well if he likes the snow and the cold he is in the right area it might make him think different tho.
Whitewood is only about a hour and a half from me if I take the grid roads. So should be about the same weather.
Does he go there often might need a young rider in the summer on a couple 3 year olds and a couple geldings. !!!Hint Hint!!
Well lets hope the weather gets better eh

App, I'd like him to stay for a while but he's 18 and working on his identity so it's safe to assume that anything is possible. I'm pretty sure he can survive your winter but he's not so fond of the heat he's going to find in the summer.

What on earth does a rodent know?!? The only thing Groundhog Day is a ploy in Punxsutawney, PA to get tourists in to depart from their money - it does seems to work though as they get people in from all over the United States as well as the world.
