I feel for ya'll. It's on'y suppose to get down to 14 here tonight.
Bob, I moved to Columbus, Ohio in either 77 or 78 and was up there for what they called the blizzaed year.
I swore if the mountains would ever melt down enough to get my van and a U-haul trailer over them I woulld never go back, and so far I haven't. I left a 68 Firebird up there in my wifes grandmothers garrage and told her to sell it and she could have the money, because I wasn't coming back after it. Lord, can't you be stupit when you are a kid???? LOL
We got 27 " of snow one in day and I forget what it ended up but it snowed on and off for two or three days after that. I remember the 27" though.
I think that was in November and we didn't see grass until April. And now I want back on that side of the mountains. Go figure.

I have relatives in NE Ohio, and that is where I am from, too. I like that part of Ohio, but don't know if I would like the crunchy snow. I loved it when I was a kid, but now, I don't know.
I just went outside here, and it's not crunch... it's squish squish squish, on the mushy wet ground. Yuck.

High of 65 and sunny here today. Just noticed a pink rose almost in bloom on one of the rose bushes.
