I don't post much (lurk often) but our family is going to go. We went last year and thought there were some pretty cool things to see. We're in the final stages of building a post and beam home and I need decorating ideas so we'll be there Sunday.

I went to the one in Schaumburg, IL in fall. I am interested in building spec log homes on some of the already subdivided lakes up here. We are half way between Chicago & Minneapolis so there is a market for vacation and retirement homes for urbanites. I will be curious to see what your opinions are when you return.

Thanks Ford8N...I did not realize that there were two groups putting these shows on. I thought I had heard that there was a show last fall in Madison, Wisconsin. I see that on both groups there is no date at Madison...does anybody know if that show at Madison is each year? thanks..jerry
