Ordering glasses thru the internet

Has anyone ordered glasses from Zenni Optical? I hate going into optical stores and trying to figure out what I want and can afford. If you did go the internet way, did you have trouble fitting the glasses? I know in the stores they heat the frames and bend to fit. Is this hard to do? Thanks, Rita

Lots of forum members have ordered from Zenni Optical. I got 3 pair from them about 10 days ago. They are great to deal with. I had to stretch only one pair and I did it with a little heat.

My optomitrist did tell me that Zenni is great on single field of vision glasses but none of the online companies are good at progressive lenses (which was fine because mine are single - in other words not bifocals or tri-focals.) He said the multi-vision progressive lenses are even tough to get right with a patient sitting in front of you! So I'll pass along his counsel.

I've used Zenni Optical several times and will in the future.

I used them and got a great pair of glasses, single vision.

I use them - LOVE them !!! HB has gotten bi focals....one pair was good, one wasnt !
He also has a backwards upsidedown wierd prescription - - - they did it just fine !!
My favorite pair cost me $17 total !!!!

Gosh, thanks for all the replies. I feel more confident about ordering if I can figure out one part of the order form I don't understand. I e-mailed the question to them after I couldn't reach the right person by phone and when I got an e-mail answer I still didn't understand. Guess I'll try to call again. Rita
