What is this? Help? - Homesteading Questions

Hello,

Can anyone tell me what this is?
I was told the original owner owned a produce business long ago. I don't know if that info will help any.

I appreciate it!

Does it have some kind of outlet? Does the outlet look like it is for liquid, or solid?

I don't know about the orchard? Apple crusher is a good idea though.

Just an open bottom, no outlet.

Thanks!

you can use it for apples, but it's called a grape crusher or grape grinder. What is this? Help? - Homesteading Questions

A month and a half ago you would have got about 120.00 plus on ebay for it. Now since the season is past, not so sure.

Thanks zeal,

I don't want to sell it. I just wanted to know what it was used for. I am hoping to clean it up & bring it back to life.

Thanks again!

Apple crusher. I have one but mine has two rollers with teeth in it. I'd perch those metal arms at the bottom across two chairs (looks like mine are longer) and put a clean huge ice cooler underneath to catch the apple must before transferring to the press. On apple day we'd let the kids turn the handle and have contests about who could demolish an apple fastest.

Here's mine http://www.vigopresses.co.uk/store/p...roducts_id=395 purchased whilst in UK of course
