Another Newbie

Hi, I've been reading the forums on this site for a while and have picked up some very interesting information. My family and I live in Northern Arizona(White Mountains) with 7 horses, currently 9 dogs, 3 cats, a turkey and some chickens. We have 51/2 acres that we bought about 5 months ago. I grow plants in two greenhouses all winter to sell at the local swap meet in the summer and my fiance works for our local railroad. We have 2 teenage boys and my 2 year old granddaughter whose mother will be back from Iraq to get her soon. Well, just wanted to introduce myself a bit.

Welcome. I've never been to Arizona. Do you get bad winters I wonder. Hot summers? The climate is changing so much here in Missouri in my lifetime that I worry about the future. Hope you enjoy this website as much as I do.

Thanks for all the welcomes. The town I live in is called Snowflake, pretty small town of about 5000. It is not far from Pinetop but not quite as cold. Usually when I tell anyone the name of the town I live in I get asked"Does it actually snow in Arizona?" Yes it does! In fact we got about 3 inches here the other day but normally it does not stick around long. Just melts and then snows again the following week.
