You mean you tie your shoes?? I prefer them Untied. I will tie them if I need to go out or the like to A place of business.

I taught my daughter to tie her shoes that way when she was little. I am lefthanded and she is righthanded and this was the most simple way without confusing her.

I don't like to tie laces so I bought some of those curly laces that you just pull tight and they stay that way. If I ever tied them, I'd probably never get them untied again. LOL That is a neat way to tie, I'll have to try it on DGD laces.

If I had to give that knot a name, I'd call it a "slip-square knot." Neat idea. I often use a plain square knot to tie boots...it's not that difficult to untie. Put this "slip-square knot" looks like a great idea! I'm gonna try it!
