Yup, a Genie II with the lox on. Thanks!
Got it on sale at Lehman's a couple of years ago for $32. Will probably never see that price again. Ordered the tripod and parchment shade elsewhere.
Jan, this is the conversion from the dairy barn to the house. Yup, had to give up the goat dairy. Will have a few again someday. I miss the goats!
Thanks all, this is really all a labor of love. Taking our time, enjoying it, paying for it as we go and haven't had an argument yet!

I *so* envy your shelf space! Bookshelves are next on the list for us, I think. We have no shelves at all here. Not even a linen closet or a bedroom closet tall enough for a shelf over the clothes.
It's looking great. Really pleasant and inviting.

Our next project is to build the wardrobe for our bedroom.
We get into a project and enjoy every minute of it. When that one is finished we admire it for a day or two, then get antsy to start another one!!

'Cause the kitchen is still in the "tiny trailer" and when you just want a snack it's easier to use the little fridge. If you notice, there are two receptacles kinda high on the wall. That area was going to be an L shaped kitchen, but we decided to build on a 12x20 living/kitchen area and leave the current room as the office/library. The bathroom is the next project in the spring. Then we won't be doing as much "peeing off the porch" as the bathroom is also still in the tiny trailer.

Thanks!
One problem. The oil based polyurethane coating on the concrete isn't working out so well in the living room/office. Too much hard traffic and in places it's chipping. Sooooo, we'll get five gallons of leveling compound to even out the center where the drain is and probably go with saltillo tile. Won't be level enough for hardwood floors. (And I was SO careful to the the grade right on the floors for a Grade A dairy! Grrrrrr.)

Nana,
thank you, but I'm not sure I want another dog. May change my mind later, but, we are wanting to do some travelling over the next year, and not a good place to train a pup!!
I certainly do appreciate the offer though!
Don
