???Another Question?????

Just to avoid a thread hijack and to avoid bashing someone with the obvious can anyone suggest the tools I should get if I decide I want to become, hmm, I don't know, either a cardiac surgeon or sponge diver, haven't decided which might pay me more here in this part of Ky.

Pretty much the same as you would need to be a carpenter. Humm.... seems like I read a thread about that recently.

If you want to be a cardiac surgeon, you have to have the heart for it.

If you want to be a sponge diver, you have to find a sponge big enough to install your diving board on.

Speak for yourself. New folks come here and ask questions because they think we are nice, and friendly, and just maybe we can help them. Not everyone can be a cardiac surgeon, or a brain surgeon, or a rocket scientist. Some folks might be 17 years old and see an ad in the local paper that says "Carpenter Wanted ~ Must have own tools".

Maybe some folks are not as wise/worldly/sophisticated as you charming fellas'. Shame on you .

Angry No Humor Allowed!!

Willy,

Now you just STOP it!! No humor is allowed...ever! We are S-E-R-I-O-U-S on ALL HT forums and subjects!

You CAN'T be a Cardiac Sugeon OR a Sponge Diver, just from the advice you get on HT!! You should KNOW that!

Simpler things, like Carpentry? Perhaps...But now you just STOP it NOW!!

Allright...

I can help with the plan to become a surgeon - you must have a BMW, a PDA, an iPod, and an attitude...........
Most surgeons DO go to college and medical school and internships and all that but really, all you really need to do is get one of those generic diplomas off the internet, printed with your name and the date of your "graduation!"
Who'll know the difference?!
Good luck to everyone!

Why you picking on me?? I was Only Thinking---Oh by the way-----If I seen a Add as you described---When I applied for the job---I would ask---What tools do you require--No matter if it was Brain Surgeon or Carpenter or mechanic or Sponge Diver. We ALL ask questions or say things some time that others find a Little Humor in---Like Possum in a Jar----Smile----It makes life a whole lot Better!! LOL Randy

Dumbest guy I ever met was a rocket scientist at NASA. I cared for his mother at a nursing home.

One of my best friends is the head pharmicist at our local hospital. I've told him that I'm going to download a diploma and get a PDR (Pharmacy Desk Reference) book and move somewhere and become a pharmicist...

He always gets a bit flustered, but understands I'm only kidding...of course, stranger things have happened...

One of the best doctors we ever had in our small Appalachian county was a fraud. He did great work...until they sent him to the Pen...

No, I think anything that represents a bad word is deleted along with the whole thread. Wouldn't want to traumatize the little kiddies, now, would we. I imagine if I type [insert bad word here] they'll delete my whole thread.
