The day is nearing...

Our barn is almost ready ot be started.

The guy says he needs the slab done next week so he can start work...

Woo Hoo!!!

After that he thinks it should take about four or five weeks and we will have a structure built on our land.

I would LOVE to have the barnpartment built BEFORE Christmas as a 'present' for Mrs oz.

If you can get contractors to perform in a timely manner during the holidays and hunting season you truly are the Great OZ. The 4th of July is always a good time to move.

Yeah the contractor doing the slab/grading work is a hunting fanatic...

On the other hand the builder doesn't hunt and has nothing lined up beyond our barn so needs to get it started so he has some work.

It is a 30' wide x 36' long,18' sidewall height.12' sheds off both sides, concrete on one side.Full loft upstairs as living space. There will be a bathroom/laundry room downstairs.

A small deck off the front above the big sliding door.

Wood siding and a metal roof.

Well this will be just 'dried in',we are going to be doing the interior work ourselves.

The plumbing downstairs will be roughed in and electric run but otherwise it is up to us.
