I used to farm and had a lot of Pecan. The only thing that we had was a few thielves that picked up many pecans. I caught some with 500 lba of pecans that they had picked up. I simply payed them .15 cents for the ones that they had and let it go. They were not happy but that is the price for picking up pecans. I also had 4 tons of pecans that had been picked up and was about to sell them. A few people tried to steal them but they can't cary that amount so I caught them and prosicuted them.

I figured that if they were going to work hard and get the pecans under picked over trees then they should not go home empety handed. Becides the pecans were mine.

Gee I have a bunch of Black Walnuts in my yard that my wife raked up and we are wishing someone would steal them.. But it wouldnt really be stealing if we wanted them gone.

What really agravated me was someone has stolen all my Pears last year and again this year.

May have to get a mean dog and tie it to the tree.

Its just as bad with the Citrus , around here, Most folks sell gift fruit, The others sell to the juice plants, So if you pull in with 20 tons, they just .Started to ask for proof of ownership. Now. used to be they never asked.
