Go to:

www.kxnet.com
and click onto "streaming videos"..then click onto "next 10", then watch the one about the man "Following his dream" (gosh, I hope I remembered the name correctly)..

anyway, that clip is all about LEE, AKA Horselogger, from the Singletree forum here on HT. There's a post on that forum which has some additional info..Lee's a remarkable person IMHO..For those of you who have homesteads along his route..you might wish to keep an eye out for him!!!!

Very cool, too bad it takes bad news for some people to do something like this.
I wish him well on his journey.

Is he in touch with anyone during his travels? Like to offer him a place to rest when he travels through IL

Yes he is..a few folks on the Singletree forum here on this site. I Pm'd one of them and asked how we might be able to get his actual planned route. ZealYouthguy asked the same thing..IMHO, it'd be SOOOOOO awesome if the folks from the various forums here could wave at Lee along the "trail" and give him a helping hand as he follows his dream.

We'd love to help if he comes down this way towards Baton Rouge!

Doesn't Holly M have some sort of contact with him? Would she know how to get in touch?

So here's the deal:

Apparently, a nice young lady whom Lee met along the way was gracious enough to put up a website for him. Even though it's still "under construction" people can contact him by going to the site, www.lee-the-horselogger.com

clicking on the "contact" feature, and leaving a message for him.

Right NOW, he's on Rte 2 out of Minot, North Dakota and headed for Minnesota.

I guess you math whizzes can look up the distance between Minot & the ND Minnesota border..figure 20 miles a day..and check the calendar accordingly. I'm lucky if I can balance my checkbook.

So..does anybody live anywhere along this part of Horselogger's journey?

I must be blind...I cannot find the streaming video link on that page (oh, there it is, right in the middle in front of my nose! No wonder I didn't see it )

But thanks for the website link! That I could find, lol, and went to visit.
