farm action special

this fall i have been to a few farm actions and found some good buys

got an old wagon gear for $35.00 all it needed was the wheel bearings re packed with grease

5/8 " exterier plywood 3 sheets for $5.25 total

native rough cutt White Oak lumber for .20 cents a bd/ft this is a real steal it normaly is .75 at the saw mill

I had to pay retail on some of the hardware but i was able to put this wagon together this week for less than $100.00

Nice job! That's a sturdy looking wagon and you can't beat the price.

I love Farm Auctions too.

You did a great job on that trailer! It's very nice and the price wasn't shabby either. You were so frugal and wise the way you got the parts and built it.

So... when are you going to email my trailer to me???

Friend told me about an auction he went to at more of a homestead than farm. Five cords of 2-3 year old firewood went for $5.00 total. He said the guy who bought it talked to the new property owners and they said he could come get it a pickup load at a time as he needed it. The new owners weren't going to heat with wood.

I only rarely go to auctions now. Farm stuff can still he had reasonably, but the household type items have really gone up in price over the past couple of years. I storngly suspect it is the eBay effect.

How come no one has teased Bob about getting in on some of that Farm Action? .... sometimes the title threads are sooooo misleading
