Woke up to our first snow here in Roundup, MT (zone 4) this morning. Looks like about 2" so far and still coming down. It's a balmy 28*....
The dogs are happy but I'm sure the chickens will be less than thrilled.

No snow in our forecast yet. Steve would like a little to track deer during hunting season. I'd rather it wait until after I finish tipping balsam. It's a pain to knock snow off the branches, especially if it's icy. Snowy/wet brush slows me down while I'm making Christmas wreaths. I'm putting in my snow order for December 15, please.

Light snow all day, no accumulation. However, it was enough for me to loose the "first snowfall" bet with hubby. I have to take him out for a date...well, I guess I really didn't loose, then...

We've had a couple of heavy frosts -- and I was sure I was going to wake up to snow this morning, but just a heavy frost. I'm surprised, we've normally had our first nonsticking snow by now. Having said that -- we'll probably get dumped on tonight. Thanks, Bob!!!
