Resource production?

Been looking through some property listings and came accross this for:
Zoning- Resource Production.
I don't know what it means....

I'm not really sure but it sounds like it's listed as commercial/industrial. Usually a business uses resources in some form to make its product. Resource production would then be the making of something out of raw materials that would then be sold and shipped to another manufacturer to make a finished product. Hope thats clearer than it sounds !!!

After reading your examples this is a wooded, level terrain so maybe logging? I emailed the realtor to see what he says. Thank you!

It usually means the land has some sore of marketable resouce attached/on it. Quary, forrest, oil well...stuff like that.

Pretty much what the realtor told me. It was 100.5 acres, 12 x 60 older mobile home, electric & gas for $119,000.00....already has an accepted offer...oh well...wasn't meant to be for us.
