what are you guys doing????

I really have been wondering....no matter where I go, of course everybody working at the bank, but to a large extent also at the building supply store, the hardware store and yesterday the automotive parts store, everywhere you go, there are women at work with nary a man in sight. the other day I was at the TSC and there were four women and one man. Out in the lot a woman was on a forklift. there are places where I do not like to deal with a woman. what are men doing? what is left for them to do. Maybe they should start up beautyshops and daycare centers.... that ought to be pc.

I would guess that the men are retired and watching the grass grow at home while the Missus works......

DH told me he worked the first 25, I need to work the next 25. Hahaha! Not so, friend. But I think you'll see more women in retail because it doesn't tend to pay the bills as much as some other jobs. DH works at a refinery, so you'll not see him in the work force because he's behind a fence

These companies can hire women to do the work for less than they could men! They are probably hiring women to replace retirees!

Really? I can't really think of any. As long as the person knows what they are doing, why would I care about their gender?

I clear blackberries for a living. I bring in $5,000 a month in the summer.

I'm just in eating lunch. I'm working on my siding otherwise, putting the clapboards back up, priming and caulking as I go. I was offered work this morning (substitute high school gym teacher), but really I'm making more by doing this work myself and it's more pleasant work.

Maybe the men are holding down the sofa while watching soaps and collecting welfare checks. JK, LOL, remember when a woman wasn't considered a "proper lady" if she worked outside the home? I am thankful we ladies can work at TSC or just about any place we want. The NAPA closest to us even has a female store manager!! I didn't think there was any other woman alive that could talk tools and cars the way she does. Personally, I'ld rather deal with another woman than a condescending male egomaniac. Especially after all the parts runs I have been on. Don't get me started about the male employees at Auto Zone.

Yes, my car has air conditioning, it also is brown, has 4 doors, and the whitewalls are on the outside. (like the ac matters on a cv joint)

Owning and managing "Curves" womens fitness centers.

Helping large women in spandex to loose weight, one sit-up at a time.
