Detergent for delicate clothes?

I make my own detergent for everyday laundry, but have a FEW delicate clothes that I am concerned about using it on. What do any of you use for say silks, washable wools, and such? Also, I use vinegar and a homemade fabric softener, when I use one...anyone tried these on delicates. Thanks.

There is no reason you can not make homemade soap that is safe for use on your delicates. If your soap is damaging your delicates you might ask here for a recipe for milder soap
