Bad neighbor update

I finally have some news. Come to find out my neighbors had Title insurance.
The leach field is being removed from my property, and the Title company is going to reimberse me for the survey I paid for and my legal fees, that I paid to my lawyer

Yay! I didn't even think of title insurance, but most banks won't finance a loan without that. Great news!

Did they move out or are they still there?

Great news! At least one of the issues has been solved!

Any new news on a settlement for the trees?

I'd be willing to bet that is the MAIN reason that they're moving out.....can't come up with the money to reimburse her for them. Glad to hear that you are getting some satisfaction in this matter......hopefully things continue to improve for you.

I would sure be filing a lean against that property for the cost of the trees. You may end up owning it and wouldn't have to worry about neighbors.

My insurance company will pay for the trees. I have the lawyer working to get me the property instead.

My bad neighbors have also pulled some stupid and horrible things in the last 2 weeks. I am not able to say exactly what, but I can tell you an animal was poisoned, and died.

Good grief! They're not content just to step in it, they've got to track it around, too.

I am glad to hear that the title company is going to do right by you, and hope that you see the back end of those yahoos PDQ.

Oh no! How horrible! I certainly hope they get in trouble with the law for that!

Will the ins. pay enough for you to buy out the bad neighbors? That would be a wild circle of events... ins. pays you for damage bad neighbors did to your property, you pay neighbors for property, neighbors pay ins. reembursement for damages. But they should still be accountable for poisoning your animal(s). In the end they would be further ahead to give you the property and fade away.

Signing over the property will cut a lot of red tape.
