Local Harvest..?

I was curious, how many here are familiar w/ this? Seems a good way to find farms in your area... and also to sell your crops, farm products,etc....

Neat link. Thanks! FYI: If you are an Okie, you can join the Oklahoma Food Coop and buy and sell locally. That website is

We've been listed there a couple of years now and it's the first place I look when I want things we don't grow or raise ourselves.

It's an awesome community and great place to find locally grown and raised goodies as well as handmade/homemade stuff.
We've been listed for a couple years too.

We are listed there, we even got a magazine article written about us from our listing there. Local Harvest has also listed us with several sister sites that have also generated business for us. We think it is worth the time to set it up.

I found a farm just up the road from me selling organic and humanely raised poultry and pork ~ I never before knew anything like that was so close!

wonderful site with wonderful administrators. Been there since the beginning. They've been featured in M.E.N. & Countryside magazines.

I don't yet have anything to sell, but just about anything (food wise) that I buy, I get through people listed on that site. LOVE IT!

I have used it before to see where the farmers markets are at in different places I may move to.

We're using it to get a lot of the more difficult to find seeds, and to look up info on farmer's markets to sell at. It's a great site.
