Indiana get totgether OCT. 7th

Event will be held at my farm.Located just east of Martinsville Indiana just south of state road 44.
Planning on everyone bringing something to cook over a fire or in a dutch oven.
I will make a large pot of mixed beans. and we can put together a menu as we go along.
Everyone is welcome to bring a tent and spend the night.. I do not want everyone to feel like they have to rush off.. WE would like to make this a noon to night event.. have fire in the woods and we can sit around and eat some fluffy white things. Bring lawn chairs and your cooking things or a covered dish..
This is 30 miles south of Indianapolis.just east of sr.37 and south of sr 44

Too bad the rest of the Hoosiers on here haven't replied yet...

My wife and kids and I would love to attend, but Oct is generally a pretty bad month around here...

Wish I could attend

but I need get home by 6 to milk, and it's a 3 hour drive each way. Cool idea though! Oh well.

Glad to hear some more Homesteader's are getting together. It will be an event you will not soon forget, and will be planning the next one before this one is even over.
We had our Buffalo River Homesteaders Campout this weekend, and I sincerely hope y'all have as much fun as we had, and continue to have at everyone.
Before you know it, you will be planning your 5th Annual like we are. We actually get together twice a year now.

Do you think we will have enough to eat at the gathering, LOL? Judging by the gathering last time....
On a serious note, will there be many kids younger than 10 at the event?
Would like to bring our 'soon to be' youngin', but want to make sure she isn't bored out of her mind.
