corner of a fence?

Can anyone out here tell me how to do the corner section of a stretch of fence. I have been looking at fences and notice that about 6 to 8 feet before the corner there is an extra post which seems to be tied into run, but it's purpose seems to be to take stress off the corner post. What do I need to do here? And how do I do it? Any help, advice, shortcuts would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in Advance,
Anne

How is the fence braced?? Most corners have A cross bar on them, Does yours???Can you put A photo up of the corner?? That might help.

scroll down just a bit here http://www.kencove.com/GuideManual4.php and look at the "box assembly" The corner post is the post on the right side. The horizontal brace should be 2 times the height of the fence minimum, to obtain best support.

The corner post is where the wire is tied or stretched from.
A bar or log goes from the top of that post to the bottom
of the next post, to prop it from leaning from the fence pulling on it.
Then you run a wire from the top of the next post to the bottom of the
corner post to stop the next post from leaning if the corner post pulls hard
on it.

If that makes sense :-)
