Potato skins, the night time snack of champions

Ayep, awake this late, had a supper of two baked potatoes with real butter, and Everglades seasonings. Now a couple of hours later I find that I am filching the left over skins to munch on, they are the most beneficial part of potatoes.

Smearing the skins into the coagulated butter leftovers, and yes you know what I am talking about - stop pretending you don't. (Two down, two to go).

Dang, the fork got into the way, lying there next to the skins. Got my fingers smeared with butter, the plate was on the breakfast cast iron pot setting on my puter tower. Really glad Fla Gal does not read my posts...

Last dragon slayed, time for bed.

Those are my favorite. my last roommate used to save hers for me when we'd go out for dinner or she'd make them at home. Same with the pizza crusts.

My DH takes both skins whenever we have baked potatoes. Now whenever we have them I automatically take the skin off mine and hand it over.

Take a scooped out baked potato skin, top with cheese of your choice, and come crumbed crisp fired bacon, place under broiler until cheese get bubbly, dip in sour cream. It's worth all those clogged arteries

Hugs
