Weevels (sp?) in my feed.

I just found a lot of weevels in a feed barrel. YUK! I removed the small amount of corn and sprayed pure bleach in on the little devils. I see no sign of them in my other feed barrels. My question is what is the best why to keep these devils out of my feed, besides the obvious.....be sure you don't bring them in in some feed. Thanks.

I have read that food-grade diatomaceous earth will keep any bug out of grains/flours and that a lot of commercial products have it added like for example Bisquick. A search of the DE would probably tell you the amount to use.

This time of year when it is so warm, we might want to not store as much feed for as long, cause the weevil eggs are going to be in there, and they are going to hatch.
