Do you recognize these tracks

Pics are kind of poor since a small rain and time have obscured the details. In the first photo the print is the length of the dollar bill. In the second pic about all you can see is the toe prints whcih are nearly on top of an old dog track. You opinions are appreciated.

Thats not a rabbit. Looks like a bear track or a very big dog track.

Kinda looks like bobcat tracks. Here's a pic of what they look like so you can compare for yourself.

Awfully big rabbit. Too broad for rabbit too if you ask me. Just from the size I'm thinking bear. But even though I'm from Tennessee, I'm no Davy Crockett.

.................I'd say , just from the photo that the imprints left by the individual pads on the foot would be some kind of large dog or wolf . Also , the curvature of the outer perimeter is distinctly "V" shaped which looks like a dog vs a feline which has much larger pads for each individual toe which gives a cat a much wider paw print , which also enables them too walk much more silently when stalking prey .
.................With the large number of people keeping exotics there is no telling what is running loose in the woods nowadays. A smart exotic pet owner Would NOT notify the Sheriff that their pet bengal tiger is loose because that automatically makes them liable for all damages\deaths that are attributable TOO that particular animal . fordy...

The pics weren't that clear, but the claw marks were obvious. Cats don't leave claw marks & those were bigger than any dog that I've seen. Looks like a small bear to me.

It's definately not bear or wolf. Where are you? You have weeds I haven't seen in the north. You're track is large but not as big as a wolf. They are massive.

Cats can and do leave clawmarks in their footprints, at least under certain conditions. The prints aren't really clear, but I still thing they look feline based on the spread of the toes.

I agree that it is some sort of cat track. Cat tracks are more spread out than canine. Canine are more oval with the oval going upright rather than across. But, it would help to know what state you are in so that I can confirm that in a field guide. I really need that emailed dollar!

Why are you standing in the dirt in your socks?
My mom used to yell at me for that and so does my wife.
