Transport Needed for Pup

Anyone travelling out of the Dallas area toward Tennessee or toward a middle point where another ht member could meet? I'd like to adopt the Catahoula mix pup on the Barter Board but he's in Dallas area and I'm in south middle TN. Can travel to Memphis to pick him u or somewhere south or west of me. Anyone out there doing any traveling soon?

I'll be going to Ar the weekend before July 4th. I could take it as far as New Boston, thats where I exit I30, if that'll help let me know.

Hi neighbor! We looked at a few houses in Farmersville a few weeks ago- when we thought my Mom wanted to live with us- our house here in Princeton is way too small!
Thanks for the offer to help move pup, hopefully some other people will be traveling!

It's not a HT place, but try Uship.com. Its where people who are traveling can list their routes and what they are willing to transport. You can also list what you want moved and people can respond if they are willing to move it. ALso have you considered flying the pooch?

I believe it was James Dilley that posted a website for truckers to communicate and they sometimes transport a critter for a good dinner and a dollar or two.

If James doesn't respond to this thread it might be worthwhile to pm him and find out.

try petfinder.com

It's an online community that often does these transfers across the country, etc.
