Old John Deere Pedal tractor

Can anyone help me find a web site that would give me some photos and other info to help me identify the old JD pedal tractor that we have.

I know it originates from the 1950's and is not the original model but may be the second.

Thanks

I did a bunch of googling but didn't find any history on the JD pedal tractors.

Those on eBay, which are still old, are much newer than the one we have.

There are a ton of different John Deere pedal tractors on ebay. Search "John Deere Pedal Tractor".

Or try this link..

http://search.ebay.com/deere-pedal-t...sopZ3QQxpufuZx

Edited to add:

I see you've posted while I was writing..and you've already tried google and ebay. Sorry it hasn't come up with your model. I tried google too..and couldn't locate any decent link.

Keep checking..something has to be out there somewhere. I'm going to go try John Deere Collectibles in google..I'll let you know if I find something.

Try yesterdaystractors.com
look for toys in the photo ads
that's a good site just to surf

Thank you!

I posted a question on that JD site.

From studying the eBay completed sales I found a similar model, altho that one appeared to be a "taller" model.---the JD 60.

We've been told that ours may be quite valuable.

We still let the grandkids play on it ---but we keep it inside the house rather than out in the yard.

Old toy John Deere pedal-tractor = "valuable"

Watching your grandchidren play on that tractor = "Priceless"..

It probably is worth some bucks - I have my Case pedal tractor and the papers that came with it (folks saved them). Last my folks checked it was going for $800 and that was 1997 or so. My kids played on it too and the wagon is at my folks. The next time your are at a bookstore, there are plenty of books on toys.
