Yippie!!!!

Spoke to wife earlier, a neighbor up the road stopped by the house, allowed as since we were working on so many projects around our place we might be able to use a bunch of old lumber and concrete block she had stocked up at her place. Hmmmm.....either the smokehouse or the chapel. Smokehouse would be handy when we slaughter this fall, but really have our heart set on a chapel built on the back hill--bell, stained glass, place to renew wedding vows, wrought iron fence surrounding a little family plot. What ya'll think, smoked chops or oak pews?

The Chapel sounds really nice. Since you and your wife have your hearts set on it,well,I think that's your best bet.

LOL...I just noticed what your "location" says....you're funny!

Can you rig up a building that will work for both?

We're trying to figure out how to combine a wood burning hot tub, earth bread oven, and moonshine still into a single unit...

I'd say chops...

That is sure nice of your neighbor...that's what neighbors should be like.

Make a pole house or arbor for the chapel as God likes the great outdoors best...use the remainder of the construction materials for the smokehouse.

Exciting update. Got to check on this deal (had the last 5 days off work). The good lady has a barn full of old lumber I've been hauling off (not literally full mind you, but quite a bit). Seems it was a two story house they tore down in the past. Anyway, once I empty the barn I get to tear the barn down and haul it off also---cha ching!!!!

I'm a pratical person... chops. Who really needs a building to connect to their spirituality anyway? Plant a nice tree with a gazebo and a view, beautiful spot to sit and reflect.
