what kind of stove is this?

I just bought a wood burning stove and wanted to find out more about it. It doesn't have the manufacturers name on it but it looks like this one. Anyone out there have any info on this style? Sorry, I don't know how to put a proper link on here or post a picture. let me know if it doesn't work.

It looks like what's known as a 'parlor stove'. You could try doing a search under that name and see if you could find out the manufacturer. The two lids on top (hidden under the decorative grill) are useable for cooking, which is a nice feature. You'll need a lid lifter for them, though. Lehmens' catalog carries them.

That stove is a beauty! It looks like it is this: Vogelzang P205E

Here's one where you can enlarge it.

Here's a manual:

Maybe you can get replacement parts for it unless yours is actually vintage. Hope that helps!

I had one identical to it years ago. I loved it. I burned both wood and coal in it. It would get very hot though so I never left it alone, and I made the door airtight with fiberglass ribbon and heat resistant gasket glue, so one can control the temperature better. Mine had chrome foot rests on it, and I used to heat water for tea on it in winter. It will heat a pretty good-sized space.

stove

Thanks for the links. It is almost exactly like this one.
http://www.vogelzang.com/p205e.htm

Exept the front doesn't open and it has round chrome knob under the front window that (i think, guess) controls airflow.

I know that the owner had it repainted. I think its an older stove. Its in really good condition. and I only paid 125.00 for it!
One of the websited had it listed for 500.00(new)

I am a happy camper!
