Try this one:

http://www.mushroomexpert.com

They show pictures of morels, and pictures of the false morels with descriptions of how to tell them apart.

Happy hunting!

We went hunting today and found none. I think it is a little early yet for the morrels, though a friends son found some little ones last week. Peterson's Field Guied to North American Mushrooms is a great investment and tells you all you need to know. They probably have it at your local library. Later, keep your eye out for chantrels. We found a bunch of them last summer.

Heres a few from my favorites.
Ive Been three times.Haven't found one yet.But two places where new to me.
Neighbors kid went bike riding with us today.Got to the end of the road and was telling my wife how good a spot looked just off the road.About that time the kid rides up and starts telling use that is where her horse ran off from here once. Then proceeds to tell us her daddy used to also pick mushrooms there that looked like sponges there.Oh really. Ya gotta love kids!

Good sites guys.
Now I feel I might be able to eat some mushrooms with out
giving myself a case of the trotts or treating my kids to my life insurance policy before I intended.

Thanks so much.
