You wear the tin foil hats to keep people from reading your mind.. or from having the radio or eletric waves from invading your head..

There are many reasons for wearing a tin foil had.. but those are the most popular.

They are kinda neat when sitting out under the full moon.
The tinfoil keeps your thoughts totally embroiled within its confines so therefore you become much more acutely aware of the multistructured universe in which your body is attempting to reside in alongside all this dysfunctional turmoil of life.

But now that its winter I gotta wear my Carhart to keep warm

It's a "forum" thing.

I think just about every forum I've hung out at has had tin hat proponents and wearers.

It is my understanding that Carharts have little to no negative filtering effects, if the foil hat is placed on the outside.

Sad to say, but I actually knew a schizophrenic guy who did this. He also had a suit of armor that he wore around for the same purpose.

I wear my tin foil hat to keep the aliens from finding me, which is the first reason sited by Wikipedia for wearing said hat.

I know from watching the movie "Signs" that they target Homesteaders. (this comment added to appease the dreaded moderator)

Here's a link to instructions on making your very own tin foil hat. Please note the the shiny side goes OUT.

Go to google images and do a search on tin foil hats. There are many different styles.

Now that the aliens have joined forces with the Bush, bin Laden and Kennedy clans, the tin foil hat stops them all from reading your thoughts. When they also co-operate with the Illuminati, the tin hat can stop or at least reduce the mind-control radiation.

The Freedom and Self-Reliance forum is the official tin foil hat reservation for this site.

To propperly use a tin foil hat it must not touch you and you must ground
it to a device that you strap on to your shoe that makes contact to the Ground ! LOLOLOL

It's important to know that they are VERY unchic during this season and no self-respecting homesteader would wear one again until after Easter! They go best with white shoes.

Do you guys use the regular or heavy duty tin foil?
I'm fond of using regular tin foil to make rabbit ears.

So, I guess what I really need to know is: Will the cheap dollar store brand keep the aliens from reading my thoughts? And should everyone in the household wear one or do the aliens only target one member of the family?

ROTFLOL! Needed that this a.m. Thanks, guys!
Cindyc.

PS I think the dogs are more at risk than people, but I can't seem to get my black lab to agree to wearing the hat... Now where's that cross species communication device? I know I laid it down here somewhere....

The cheap stuff will work, but does not last long. Get the heavy duty kind, especially for the kiddies.

In their studies on human interactions - or maybe they are just doing it for entertainment value (Desperate Earthlings, 8pm) - all family members are targeted.

You can avoid having to wear them in the house if you use the proper precaution. Heavy duty aluminum foil in the attic under a layer of insulation, as wallpaper and beneath the carpet has the added benefit of making the house warmer. Especially during lightening storms.

I saw one website that said to cover it with scotch tape to hold it together, but this seems like it would make your tin foil hat look REALLY cheap.
