Snowmobiles on the Homestead

Just wondering what kind of sled(s) you have on your homestead and how do you use them. We have a 97 Polaris XLT touring and a 99 Polaris Classic touring. We tow a sled behind ours to move firewood and feed. We also load the sled for ice fishing expeditions. When the snow is deep and the roads are bad, we use our sleds to get to the Friday night meat raffles and AYCE fish dinners.

'04 Yamaha RX1 and a 90-something Polaris XCL Triple.
Wish we got more use out of them in Illinois, but mostly we have to go further north nowadays.

We have a couple of older Skidoo Tundra 2's. Good little trail machines that seem to never die. We use the for moving firewood and water or whatever. We live on an awesome trail system. I can literally go all over the state from the trail running along our property line. We frequently will go roadhouse hopping on a Saturday night or just visiting on them.

Awesome picture of the two of you!

We have two 2002 Artic Cat 4-strokes. They are not very fast, but very quiet!

Four-strokes! I am extremely jealous...sure wish we could afford a couple. The two-stroke exhaust kills us!

Hey, did you get Arctic Cats remote starter option?

Got a 96 Skidoo Grand Touring with about 12k on it Good sled. Haven't ridden it much in the last 4 years because of all the time I spend running the trail groomer.

I sure would like to give irondogs another try. I had a couple bad experiences as a kid that turned me away from them. Are they very expensive? I'm assuming they aren't too difficult to drive, but do you need a special license?

Nice picture of you two.

1996 Polaris Widetrak. Use it for firewood and icefishing. I sure would like to have one of those four strokes for the quiet and gas mileage.

Burn that fuel and think you're living in happy land.
