Short days, long nights

I'm wondering, as autumn comes and the days get shorter and the nights grow longer ...

... why am I not getting more sleep?

Gosh I'm having a hard time waking up in the mornings! Since it don't get daylight until after 7 a.m. and the mornings are cold, I am having a very hard time keeping my eyes open for the first hour when the alarm goes off. I hit the snooze several more times than usual and then I snooze a little bit while setting in my recliner trying to lace up my boots.

Me too r.h. It happens every time the seasons change for me. I just figured it was the difference in the air and I seem to adjust to it after a few days.

I thought maybe I was the only one feeling it and the sun hasn't showed its face here in a week every day it has rained or just misted enough to make it a nasty day and that sure doesn't help . I set my alarm another 10 minutes fast cause I hit the snooze to Lillie

Take a nap

poppy,

Love your fractions!

Alex

OH, about waking up . . . hmmmm . . . just make sure you take a 15 min nap after lunch at 2:00 p.m. I don't get up that early anyway, so no problem at the season change. I get up about 6:30 or 7:00 a.m. . . . hmmmm, again . . . now that you mention it, you are right. Today I slept until 8:39 a.m. -- that is very wierd.

I know that my sleep habits get mixed up with Daylight saving time, but that hasn't happened yet.

It is 7:04 am right now and dawn is just breaking. Time to go out and milk but I'm still sitting here in my jammies.
