Thumbs up Granddaughter and Gymnastics Meet
My Granddaughter has her first meet out of the way. Floor 9.425. Bars. 8.75. Vault. 8.875 and we shall not talk about beam. She also qualified for state today. Overall she did wonderful and we could not be more proud.

That's great Rock! Very good scores, and I'm sure her beam will get better. Tell her congratulations from me!

I used to do gymnastics for several years as a young girl...until I grew too, ahem...top heavy, lol. It threw my whole balance off and got in the way of a lot of moves, so I had to give it up.

Beam was always my best competition, then the bars, floor, and vault. It was hard work, but so much fun! I hope she goes far.

Brings back memories. Lots and lots and lots of memories! My daughter did gym from 3 to 18 (won three state championships!) so I went to A LOT of meets. FYI, she still teaches gymnastics part time and makes fairly good money.
