My Bluegrass Family

We play music in our spare time. There are a lot of bluegrassers in the Pacific Northwest. I thought I would share our family band website because it has new live recordings of one of our concerts. Hope you enjoy our songs!

ok, I can find all kinds of youtube videos on Northern Departure, but where are the Blueberry Hill youtube videos????

You guys are maybe the best I've heard. I love to hear your lead female voice. She has the purest voice and tone I've heard in awhile. Better than EmmyLou. Maybe better than Allison. Not taking anything away from the male lead voice. Wonderful voice. And your band is spot on. Can't say enough good things about you guys. You gotta make yourself known! Get that youtube going!!

Make sure your youtube videos are the same sound quality of what's on your website. Man, I'm loving this bluegrass jamming!

Gee thanks you all. We don't have any videos. We sure do need some for sure. Loriechristie we will be playing two festivals this year, Darrington Bluegrass Festival, and Bluegrass on the Green in Mountlake Terrace. Sorry nothing planned for the Kitsap Peninsula, but that is where I first learned to play guitar at my grandparents camp on the Tahuya River. We had a little family band back then called Whatsit Tahuya. So much fun.

We're working on our first cd right now, which should be ready in a month or so.

My younger brother has a bluegrass band out of Monroe. They are Money Creek Mining Co. Sounds like you get to a lot of the same festivals.

You might be talking about Mikie. He's good. I was just having a visit with him a few days ago. Money Creek Mining Company is one of our favorite NW Bluegrass Bands!

Bless you. There's a special place in my heart for people who make music with their family. Your group is very talented; family bluegrass music is why I love going to Branson during their music festivals.

Your brother, Steve is one of the guys who worked with my son Forrest to help him learn banjo & get better at it. You can tell who the nice folks are when they take the time to help others around them grow & get better. It's a small world!
