Coming back

Hi everybody -

Pretty sure there aren't too many who remember me around here but that's ok

A lot has changed since I was regularly posting. Due to hubby's job we moved to a small town in NE Missouri and are actively planning for DH's retirement within 5 years. I am no longer working but now a SAHW. Love that part! Not so crazy about this small town though

Both of our kids have married and now we're the proud and blessedly involved grandparents of not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 grands with a 5th on the way next summer!! God has abundantly blessed us above and beyond!

We also bought a piece of ground about 40 minutes from home which so far is good for raising rocks, ticks and grandkids, lol. It has a usable mobile on it and a barn so for now it's weekends. The plan is to retire there.

I'm looking more to getting back to the land again so came back to the place I knew I could learn the most. Glad to see it's all still here!

Another NEMO saying HI!

Lets be honest, North East MO is about 100% small towns. Our nearest has 1300 people in it. I think it's why we chose to buy our homestead. We wanted small town and boy did we get it!

LOL! Very, Very true! And having grown up in small towns I normally am a fan. There are a couple of small towns not too close from the 'retirement' place too and I like them just fine
