Thanks to clovis.Daughter texted me,"Please post that a very nice family came to our rescue!!Nice little girl!!!!"
It's amazing that we have had offers of help.I've made lots of friends here on HT. Thanks for all your prayers.. as the song goes,Lindsey has only just begun. Two more rounds of even stronger chemo..Throw in spinal taps and bone marrow aspirations..

Robin,

It was our pleasure. We were more than happy to help!!! It was nice to meet your daughter. We enjoyed talking to her, and seeing all the pics of Lindsey.

We are praying for a speedy recovery of this strong young lady.

If there is anything else, please let me know. We are close to the city, and usually are in town twice a week.

Charliesbugs, one thing I wanted to mention....a dietitian I am sure is following Lindsey's case. Maybe, someone there with her needs to help them "brainstorm" and think of things that she would be able to swallow. There is a whole team of people there to help her.

I am so glad Lindsey has a strong supportive family and all of her HT family! Praying for you all!

When my daughter was a baby, I spent a lot of time at Riley's with her and I don't think there is any more of a helpless feeling for a parent than to have a very sick child. Such a generous act of kindness, I'm sure, has lifted the spirit of this mother. Clovis, you're a sweetie!
