Larry Hagman?

Seriously?

I'm currently working my way through the entire run of Dallas (I'm just finishing up season eight) and he was on the new Dallas series, too, and he looked and sounded quite frail.

I saw him in the pilot of the new Dallas and yes he was looking very frail.

RIP Larry

He was in the whole first season, and from what I understand, was going to be in the second season, too (which I believe has already started filming).

I wonder how the show will handle it. He had cancer, so it doesn't seem that his death would have been a huge surprise.

That will be interesting to see how the show deals with it. Im sure they knew he was ill, maybe they already filmed an ending for him.

Knew he had cancer, was thinking he beat it, rest in peace, Larry.

Remember him via the "I dream of Jeannie" series....
Never could get into that "Dallas" thing.

RIP Larry....

I didn't think he looked frail at all. Old? yes, but he seemed to be full of life and back to his old tricks as JR Ewing.

Perhaps the weight of his eyebrows contributed to his demise -- those things really needed to be trimmed.

Oh what a shame! Not sure how they are going to carry on with the new series now...it's not Dallas without JR.
