What would this make you?

Years back there were two families that had three children from each family
marry the each other.

Family A - Son 1, Son 2, Daughter. They marry siblings from family B.

Family B - Daughter 1, Daughter 2, Son.

Now they all have children of their own and the children
are all Double First Cousins, right?

But recently one of the daughters from family B has told one of her nieces
that Son 1 was really her father, not Son 2. (hanky panky going on)

So now her brothers and sisters would only be halves now, right?
and some of her cousins would now be halves.

This is confusing to me, is she half bro's & sis's with her cousins at the same time?

The cousin relationships wouldn't change as the fathers are brothers, but the siblings now become half siblings.

Not to hijack this thread, but it makes me think of a woman who used to work for me......she had been married for 20-ish years and they had 3 adult and teen kids. Her husband wasn't happy with their marriage, and their oldest son and DIL, who had a daughter, were also unhappy. Employee's hubby and their DIL had an affair, and eventually broke up both marriages and married each other, and proceeded to have a baby together. SO.... DIL has two daughters who are half-sisters, but are also aunt and niece, and DIL's ex-husband, who is the son of her new husband, is the half-brother of her baby girl while he's the father of the older one.

ABSOLUTELY TRUE STORY! Anybody hear Dueling Banjos in the background??

This even confused me and my father's older sister married my mother's older brother (that's how my parents met)

So if my mother told one of my cousins that my father is also the father instead of my uncle being their father???

Sounds like my auntie & my father were playing hanky-panky

Do I have that right??

Did you all know that if identical twins marry identical twins then biologically all the children are siblings?

Lonely beat me to it.

The burning question in WV that everyone wants an answer to is; "If your parents get divorced are they still brother and sister?"
