Boy if this doesn't get the owners ticked off nothing will. Too bad the Green Bay Packers are publicly owned, if they had an owner, I am sure he would be talking to the NFL commissioner already this AM about THOSE REFS.
This season is turning out to be shameful at best.
And I am sure some people are already getting turned off by football this season. Too bad.
But it boils down to money and unions. LOL

When the seats in the stands start to be more empty then full, maybe something will happen.

We don't care to watch football. Something about a bad call? I got up this morning & my facebook page was full of people complaining about the game. It is just a game, get over it. Life is more important than that.

The NFL doesn't care.
I am still ticked about the call that almost too off Watt's head. They ignored THAT personal foul and called one of his team mates on barely touching an opponent making sure he went out of bounds!

I didn't watch last nights game but I have heard this weekend some one was seriously hurt.

People were actually standing on Lombardi Ave in Green Bay with big signs at 5:00AM today protesting some bad call or something!

I thought it was hilarious. You'd think that they were watching some word from God or something!

It's a SPORT! It will not cure cancer or feed the hungry.

I guess I'm missing something!

In our house it may not be a cure for cancer but it sure is exciting.

Bad calls stink but hey at least it gets your blood flowing.

Just sports? Maybe but if it wasn't for Basketball and football my kids would have had a hard time paying for college.

Sport is one of the great joys in life for lots of people including me. To us its the change of seasons, its about getting together with friends, rooting for your favorite teams, and the whole nine yards.

Some of you get all excited about your animals and would be up in arms if the USDA came down with some bizarre regulation or omission and thats not a cure for cancer either.

Football is entertainment in its purest form and sport as entertainment goes back thousands of years and its actually part of life. Even if you dont like sports or football it seems like a simple gesture to have some empathy for those who do. If nothing else, you should be interested that a big business that rakes in tens of millions of dollars is compromising their business over trying to save a few bucks on the backs of some of their lowest paid employees.

Let me clarify my comment. We don't care for Professional football. To them it is about money and politics, unfortunately.
My husband played football and track in highschool and we hope our boys take interest in some sport. When we see our youth play a sport we do enjoy it. They play for the love of the game.
Sorry if I upset anyone. It was not my intention.

I don't think you upset anyone. I think when folks like something they are gonna defend it. I feel the same as you do but about golf . I can't stand to watch it on tv. If someone came on here saying they were mad about something at a big golf match I would have probably replied much like you did....get over it, it's just golf. To each their own.

LOL I feel that way about basket ball. Since Jordan quit I have not enjoyed it at all.

I don't like baseball much anymore either.
I do however LOVE football! Professional, not school though.

I enjoy the players. I like the ones that play and you can see they are having fun and loving the game. Yes imo they are over paid. I still enjoy watching Peyton play, and Schaub. I wish Romo would play better. I can not imagine why the Boyz keep making so many mistakes!

I admire Witten, that boy is in PAIN and still trying to play.

Yea, I dont think anyone was offended, we are just passionate!!

I have to admit I never liked watching golf either even though I played until I got injured but once Tigers wife knocked him in the noggin with a golf club I paid a bit more attention and I will watch an occasional major game.

Its all just part of what makes life interesting to me and an excuse to socialize. I think we should buy Ardie/WI one of those cheese hats and an Aaron Rogers jersey!!!

That is your opinion and you are entitled to it. I saw them work hard for every sport/academic they recieved to help themselves through college and I am proud of them for that.

PR is PR...NFL doesn't care that there was a bad call. They are just happy we are talking about them and they are all over the news.

I didn't watch the game, and I haven't follwed football in years. But bad calls ruffle my feathers....those men work hard all week, they deserve to have their work evaluated correctly. Just as all working people do not matter if they work for minimum wage or a crazy high paycheck.

Not to mention their job is dangerous enough with out having the guys that are supposed to enforce the safety and other rules not knowing what the rules ARE they should be enforcing.
